Not only have I to get ready for my solo exhibition, but I am also taking part in the annual "Lokal Artists Exhibition" in Blankenberge. The theme this year was "The 4 Seasons" and this is my entry: "Omnia vertuntur" (free translation: "Everything is changing"). I made the pen and wash and Harrie Voet added the calligraphy. I delivered the painting in our Cultural Centre this morning and on Friday evening there is an opening reception, offered by the City Councel. Each year there are about 70 entries, depending on the theme and off course, a lot of artists just enter a work, not considering the theme at all!
