Am working on a new series of limited palette works, small because I have no formal studio at the moment. They're inspired by Scotland, as usual, sweeping, loose marks, expressive and what I love to do. I'm out my art room -- we're moving house and I have to paint on the kitchen table. Started 30 x 30cms canvases tonight plus some small nectarine paintings. Really need to feel the brush pulling the paint off the palette. Had to clear up afterwards. Can't wait to move to York and get a studio happening again . . .
