Inspired by Blisworth

I have only just registered so this is my very first blog. I was recommended to join by my artist friend Phil Cahill whose work I admire.(in the gallery)'
I love working with acrylics and pastels and belong to the Blisworth Art & Craft Group where I learn so much from the other artists including Phil.
Recently I have been working on images from around our beautiful village of Blisworth - we have the Grand Union Canal on our doorstep and our famous canal tunnel to Stoke Bruerne which you may have heard of.
I have just finished an acrylic landscape 'From Gayton Rd Blisworth'.
I like things to be a bit quirky e.g. 'Lost Propery in the Baptist Chapel.
I also enjoy the challenge of portraiture.
I have been painting fro 12 years - learning as I go, I have also emkbarked on OCA courses - painting & drawing.
Going to the RA on Friday to view the Degas Exhibition.
