Hi everyone! This is my first blog here. I've had a great year as an artist so far. My work has been included in the Paint Magazine Gallery several times and my painting 'Frozen Lake' was chosen as a finalist in the Artist and Leisure Painter Magazines exhibition at Patchings Art Centre in June/July. This month, my painting 'Clarke's Beach' has been selected for the Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London in October! The other painting I submitted for the RSMA was pre-selected, but did not make it to the final exhibition. These 2 paintings are very different in style and composition, Clarke's Beach being very detailed and 'tight', Frozen Lake being semi-abstract and very loose! I guess I am still finding my way in style and subject! Bring it on! I have recently started taking watercolour classes at the Artstyle Gallery in Orpington and from next week am being represented by Gallery Seventeen in Beckenham. I'm working on a website but currently using my Facebook page (Sue Bradley Artist). I really enjoyed the Patchings Festival this year and last and will definitely book my place at a B&B for the 2013 festival soon! Thank you for following my progress as a developing artist! :o)
