Thank you for your advice about selling below asking price. As it turned out the interested party wasn't so interested after all it seems and didn't buy although I did offer a small reduction. The exhibition is on until the 7th Jan and then I will try to put the painting in question into my gallery. Unfortunately my sons are all abroad at the moment and I am not so good on the computer. Our newly- founded painting club is going well, and we have started doing 'homework' - i.e a particular theme or motif for us all to try and show at the next meeting. We meet at a Greek restaurant and the owners are very nice about us spreading our pictures around to be appraised. Last week we had to share our room with a group of choristers having their Christmas party but they didn't mind the impromptu viewing. In the new year we are going to discuss various topics concerning our painting and the first subject is "planning v spontaneous". Should be interesting.
