End of another term

Today was the last day of "Painting Continued" and the end of a three week project. I still find working in oils in art class frustrating...takes so long for anything to dry....but I only had a couple of hours sleep last night so was considerably more slow than normal anyway. Its not too bad, somethings I would still change but that is the process of learning. Lessons are now finished till after Easter...such an age away. After class I went with a friend to the AAF in Battersea. It was all very interesting but I did not find as many things to excite me as I did in previous fairs. Plus, they are always so crowded (how so many people can be off work, I just don't know) and that kinda spoils it for me...I like room to move around easily and not have to dart and duck between people and prams. I did purchase a painting by Harry Brioche, whom I have been eyeing off for several fairs, and added to my print collection a couple of linocuts by Nicky Cooney. Only problem is I am fast running out of wall space in my home, and have to rejuggle the collection's location to get it all to fit...even the stairway is getting quite crowded.
