Having written my last post, I've just reread Max Hale's "Drawing from your Soul" (The Artist, Nov 2012,p36-38). He makes the point far more eloquently than me:"Art for me is 80 pecent inspiration, confidence and bravery, with the remaining 20 percent split between application and much less emphasis on technique and materail cloices........ If something doesn't inspire you to make art, why doi it?
