Beginning second coat on cat. Think it is going well and am loving the different range of colours I have worked on ears and top of the head. Am managing to use the palette knife to scrape some fur detail. Very proud of myself today because I fixed problem with the washing machine. I thought the pipes had blocked because of the ice but after the big thaw in the last few days they were still blocked so following advice I pulled the pipes apart cleaned them out and they now seem fine. Of course being the impatient cow I am I had to do it whilst the washing machine was on so I needed to keep moving the pipe to various buckets. The kitchen floor still looks a mess with large sways of water marks on the tiles but hopefully that will dry. Took the galaxy out for a trip to Crewe to buy shoes for my youngest, it really is not right, the steering is heavy and pulling to the side. Big problems with my elder son (13) and his apparent friends, who have suddenly decided to stop calling for him in the morning, with no idea why. Of course I need to butt out, have had my hands burnt in the past trying to sort out kids friendships issues, but its upsetting seeing him bothered so. Looking forward to a day painting tomorrow (in between chores)
