I started painting just seven years ago, although I did a little mainly abstract-type art before this. I am trying to persevere with botanical painting and seem to be very happy in my little art group at our local church. I paint in water colour, with pencils and with brushes. I find it very therapeutic although there are times when I find that it is 'hard to get into art'. However, patience is a virtue.
