I make no apology for extending the Blackshore over a few blogs, as it has so many facets. One of the many challenges of outdoor painting is the original www. - Wet windy weather. Suffolk may have England’s driest climate statistically, but it can be as wet & windy as where I live up North, and this was painted on such a day. Odd rain spots can be seen in the sky wash and the painting took under an hour, with the coffee and warmth of the Harbour Cafe calling me. I do feel that rough built sheds, used by men doing rough work, show their character best in rough weather!
