Well here goes......I'm am fiercely anti facebook and twitter (yawn) apologies to those I've just insulted! This is my first online community.....shock horror! However while it would be wrong to say I have only just put brush to paper, I'm definitely a new starter but this is my VERY fist blog, ever in the world, the universe! OK boring stuff over. I am rather thrilled to find this site, purely by accident, I might add, but TG that I have! I'm wondering how many people out there are like me, keen as mustard to produce the kind of work, they could upload without feeling, totally mortified. I'm becoming slightly obsessive.....where once upon a time it was a book I couldn't put down now I can't walk past my painting table without being pulled in to add a little more colour here, take some out there! Today it's trees....no leaves, just trunks gnarled old things, from a photograph I took in the graveyard in my village; got some odd looks while doing that. I am however becoming very much more adventurous with the watercolur, let it run, this way, that way......appeals to the untidy in me. You'd understand if you saw my living room. Discovering this art stuff....It's a bit like falling in love, I seem to recall. Everything is about and for the chosen one (in this case my desire to become an artist as opposed to a dabbler). Enough for now.....stumbling into stream of conciousness territory.
