A Good Cat's Guide to Feline Art Apprenticeships Part 1

My name is Midnight, and I am my owner's art assistant. My role includes posing for sketches, sitting on artworks to help them dry, testing out brushes to see which taste best and knocking over anything which doesn't meet my rigorous testing standards.

I showed a talent in art from a very early age. As a kitten, I developed an interest in trying out pens, pencils and brushes, so my owner decided that an apprenticeship in the home studio might provide me with an opportunity to develop my talents, and I haven't looked back. I will be sharing my experiences here in a series of posts to encourage other studio and gallery cats with useful hints and tips in how to develop their career.
