David Thomas

David Thomas showed drawing ability from an early age, and was one reason for his decision to train as an architect. Drawing and painting became lifelong hobbies, and an early retirement gave him the opportunity to develop them more seriously. Apart from architecture and painting he has designed and made prototypes of various devices as diverse an an artist’s folding easel, a walking frame and a print browser, with a view to production. His portraits have generally been commissions, several through the Royal Portrait Society. He has given demonstrations to local Art Societies and runs a local weekly art class
