Biography

I am a retired GP , based in South Yorkshire, Uk. I remember that I had always liked to draw from my early years and , I think, some time in my early school days, I fell in love with beautiful watercolour landscapes painted by my art teacher at the school, which I used to look at with great astonishment and excitement. I continued to sketch and paint on and off , whenever time permitted, as a very fulfilling hobby and an escape from the humdrum of daily life !Time moved on and I never got enough time to indulge in my hobby properly , there was college, medical school , and followed by 4 decades of General Practice. However , my love for watercolour continued and I finally got an opportunity to paint more after 1st. Covid lockdown and retirement. I have not had any formal art learning but my love for watercolour continues , a medium, which I find simply beautiful and exciting. I have done some sketching and Line& Wash but no other medium.I am grateful to all my friends , who take the time to look at my amateurish work and would welcome any suggestions or advice , going forward , thanks .
