Biography

Biography Richard Kimball Jolley, American oil painter, b. 1954 – R.K. Jolley graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Art, and has been painting professionally for 35 years. Jolley has a strong attraction to rich, tonal color, expressed in a variety of styles, particularly, realism, tonalism, and impressionism. He paints a wide range of subjects including, landscape, figurative, wildlife, birds, and an occasional non-representative work. Jolley has won numerous honors and awards including the Purchase Award at the Bosque Conservatory of Fine Art in 1998. In 1999, one of Jolley’s works was shown in the international exhibition, Birds in Art. His paintings can be found in collections throughout the United States.
