John Humber

Biography

Since returning to my home town of Hull I have rediscovered the East Riding and more particularly the River Humber and I continue to explore ways to express this fascination. More recently I have moved into a studio space and this is allowing me to explore long-held ideas around producing larger work. It is the immediacy of drawing and mark-making media that interests me and whatever other mediums I might explore, I always return to drawing. Life drawing forms a regular part of my drawing practice.
