Royal Institute of Oil painters exhibition
The annual Royal Institute of Oil painters (ROI) exhibition opens this week at the Mall Galleries in London. 30th November to 11th December.
This week the annual Royal Institute of Oil painters exhibition opens at the Mall Galleries, and there are lots of great events associated with the exhibition this year. I do hope you can get a chance to visit.
There are tours of the exhibition on the 2nd December with Peter Graham ROI and on the 3rd December with Ian Cryer PROI.
On the 2nd December I will be painting in the gallery from 2.00pm and would love to see you there.
The 3rd December is the ROI Paint Live challenge, create a painting within half a mile of the gallery. Works will be judged by Ian Cryer, Roger Dellar and Tim Benson. Generous prizes supplied by Cass Art.
On the 6th December from 2.00pm Roger Dellar ROI PS RI will be painting in the gallery.
Also on the 6th December is the ROI painting event evening, paint from a model alongside members of the ROI. Tickets available from the Mall Galleries.
You can see many of the works in the exhibition now on the Mall Galleries website. I am going to be showing three paintings in the exhibition, one of which is shown here, 'The Sentinel'.
Would you like to join the friends of the ROI? For a small annual subscription you can join in with fun painting days with ROI members and friends throughout the year.
