I'm told this is sold out, which is nice. I shall be putting attendees through their paces, concentrating for its six hours on developing observation and recording skills from life, using conte crayon, bistre & sanguine sticks, dip pen and ink, chalk, charcoal and pastel, separately and in mixed media. Our subjects will include animals from the Weston Park Museum Natural History collection, a life model and some mechanical models, with the accent on how to see clearly and record in styles after Leonardo. Part of the workshop content should figure in an article from me in Leisure Painter later in the year.
