This was painted as a time filler while I was at the Ten Artists exhibition last October, an annual fundraiser which does what it says on the tin; ten new paintings from each of ten artists (or nine plus one sculptor, the amazing Jason Heppenstall), which has raised more than £30,000 for its cause, Sheffield Samaritans, since it's inception. I usually stick around for the full weekend to talk to people and to paint at the easel.
