These are the rest of the micro canvases I have been working on for the arts trail. the small ones are 3 1/2 by 2 3/4 inches, the larger ones 7 x 5 inches. It turns out it takes nearly as long to paint something in this small size as the full size versions. What I have discovered is that these make great practise runs for what may be larger versions. It has enabled me to see what I think is working in the materials and what is not. These are oil on canvas. I like the nocturne, the sunset sky with trees and the blossom tree. They are all oil versions of successful watercolours I sold last year and I will do a larger version of the sunset. The sunset with water isn't working for me and the still life needs a much better drawing. That having been said, they are great fun at that size and will make my stall look great at the weekend.
