Surbiton Arts Group meet once a month, on Monday evenings from 8 until 10 pm throughout the year (with a summer break during July and August) in the annexe hall of Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton, KT6 6AG. There is ample free parking behind the library and a lift for disabled access Our meetings include a variety of activities, including demonstrations by practicing artists, lectures by professional art specialists, assessment and appreciation of members work, plus practical painting and drawing evenings. We welcome the complete beginner through to the more experienced artist, learning alongside each other in a friendly atmosphere. Two, week long exhibitions are held each year in Spring and Autumn and all members are invited to submit work. If you are interested in painting or the appreciation of art, you are most welcome to join us at any of the group’s meetings to try us, to see if you would like to join. Visitors are welcome to all our meetings for a fee of £4 per session. We offer a full membership for £25 p.a. which includes entrance to all group sessions and the right to submit work for both exhibitions.
