Spalding Arts and Crafts Society is proud to be one of the oldest established societies for visual arts and craftwork in the country. It was founded in 1916 by surgeons at the Johnson Hospital in Spalding for recovering soldiers wounded in the First World War. Spalding Town Council sponsored their first exhibition in 1918. Monthly meetings, with a professional demonstrator, are held on the first Tuesday of the month (except January) at Pinchbeck Village Hall, Knight Street, nr Spalding, PE11 3RB. members £2.50, guests £4.50 inc tea & coffee. All welcome 7.30pm – 9.30pm
