The Artists' Collecting Society Studio Prize 2018

For a second year running, the Artists' Collecting Society (ACS) is offering an artist the chance to win £6,000 to contribute to the cost of an artist’s studio in the UK.

The ACS Studio Prize returns in 2018 to award a student or recent graduate a £6,000 prize to cover the rental costs of a studio space in a UK city of their choice. The Studio Prize is an international competition open throughout Europe. It was established by the Artists’ Collecting Society in 2017 to help artists with the costs of rising studio rents. The Prize recognises the need for studio space and financial stability for emerging artists at the pivotal stage of beginning their careers. This year’s judging panel comprises the painter, printmaker and former Keeper of the Royal Academy Eileen Cooper, visionary artists Rob and Nick Carter, and the Managing Director of ACS Viscountess Bridgeman. ACS is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to the collection of intellectual property right royalties on behalf of visual artists. With a community-interest focus, it is proud to fund a large number of bursaries and prizes for artists throughout the UK. You can enter the ACS Studio Prize 2018 via our website: www.acsstudioprize.com To ensure that you are considered for the prize, please complete your submission by 30 June 2018.
