Perthshire artist exhibits in Dundee

The work of established Scottish landscape painter Margaret Evans can now be seen in Dundee. Eduardo Allesandro Studios in Broughty Ferry stocks her work both in the gallery and on its website.

The work of established Scottish landscape painter Margaret Evans can now be seen in Dundee. Eduardo Allesandro Studios in Broughty Ferry stocks her work both in the gallery and on its website. “I am delighted to have my work in this gallery alongside other prominent Scottish painters,” says Margaret from Perthshire. Margaret gained a Diploma of Art from Glasgow School of Art and her Art Teacher's Certificate from University of London. She is a Signature member of Pastel Society of America and a Member of Pastel Artists of Canada, Art du Pastel en France and Pastel Society of Spain. Margaret, a former president of the Society of All Artists, is a member of the steering committee for Landscape Artists International incorporating International Plein-Air Painters. Margaret has written books for Harper Collins, Search Press and David & Charles and featured in numerous international art magazines including UK, USA, Hong Kong, Australia and Norway. Her teaching videos and DVDs are published worldwide and broadcast on SKY TV Art Series and artistsnetwork.tv. Margaret's pastel painting, Amish Series, Hard Day's Toll, won fifth place (out of 2,500 entries) in the Landscape & Interior category (juried by Clark Mitchell) of the 15th Annual Pastel 100 Competition. She was featured in the April 2014 edition of the Pastel Journal. In 2014 her book Pastels Unleashed was published by Search Press. Her pastel painting, Amish Series, Hard Day's Toll, won fifth place in the Landscape & Interior category of the 15th Annual Pastel 100 Competition USA among approximately 2,500 entries.
