New, rarely released prints from Surrey born artist Emily Lamb

Following in the footsteps of her famous grandfather, the wildlife artist and conservationist David Shepherd CBE, Surrey born Emily Lamb is releasing two fabulous limited edition prints to support wildlife conservation this autumn.

The vibrant colours of mounted print African Fish Eagle, (see below) explode with the energy of Africa in this dynamic depiction of Africa’s stunning wildlife while the box canvas Carmines (above) brings a wonderful serenity with its flutter of brilliant Carmine bee-eaters on a glittering grey background.

Although born and bred in Surrey – she attended St Hilary’s School followed by Priorsfield and Godalming College – Emily’s heart belongs to Africa, a place beloved by her grandfather who set up the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation in 1984 using his art to help raise funds to protect endangered wildlife.

'It was granddad who inspired me but it is Africa that stole my heart,' says Emily who now travels widely and paints from her studio in Cornwall.

A highly sought after artist in her own right with numerous, international sell-out exhibitions to her name Emily rarely releases limited edition prints and with just 100 of each being produced demand is expected to be high.

All profits from sales will be donated to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation to fund wildlife conservation across Africa and Asia.
