Over the last two weekends in July, Isle of Wight artists invite you into their studios or demonstrate their work in public venues across the Island.

Open Studios - the Island’s biggest summer arts event.

West Wight – 17 – 20 July
East Wight – 24 – 27 July

Over the last two weekends in July, Isle of Wight artists invite you into their studios or demonstrate their work in public venues across the Island. Visitors can enjoy art of all kinds, watch artists at work and talk to them about their styles and influences.

This year there are over 100 exhibitors, including sculptors, photographers, painters in abstract and realistic styles, ceramicists, driftwood and fabric art.

Between Friday 17 – Monday 20 July you can follow art trails in Newport, Cowes, Yarmouth, Freshwater and the surrounding area. The focus then moves to Ryde, Bembridge, Sandown / Shanklin, and Ventnor between Friday 25 – Monday 28 July.

Exhibitors will be listed on the Isle of Wight Arts website www.isleofwightarts.com and in the 2015 Open Studios Yearbook which will be available from outlets across on the south from Jule and on the website. The yearbook will include art trail maps to help visitors make the most of Open Studios and to guide them around unfamiliar places, each location has a post code and key information for Satnavs.

This summer’s Open Studios offers great days out, whatever the weather – an admission is free!
