Derwent, the world leading British artists’ brand, has proudly announced a three-year sponsorship with The Pastel Society which exhibits annually at the Mall Galleries London and promotes the work of pastel artists internationally.

Derwent’s sponsorship of The Pastel Society aims to support the important work the society undertakes to promote the work of international Pastel artists. The Pastel Society was founded in 1898 and is a registered charity promoting and encouraging the use of pastels in the contemporary art world.

Astri Saunders, Marketing Manager at Derwent, said that the partnership affirmed Derwent’s commitment to recognise and inspire artists across all mediums.

'Sponsoring The Pastel Society is an opportunity for us to celebrate the works that artists create using this fine art medium and support the Pastel Societies efforts in advocating pastel artworks of artists from all corners of the globe,' she said.

The Pastel Society’s Annual Exhibition displays more than 80 entries from both members and non-members of the organisation.
