Another Door Opens - an exhibition of paintings by Richard Foster, PRP, at Gallery 8, 8 Duke Street, London, SW1Y 6BN. 20 - 25 November 2018.

Richard Foster has recently been elected President of the prestigious Royal Society of Portrait Painters, founded in 1891 to promote excellence in portraiture.

Richard is a versatile painter in oils and watercolours whose subjects have included Diana, Princess of Wales. Here he exhibits portraits including a self-portrait, cityscapes from his travels at home and abroad and landscapes.

The centerpiece of the show is the evocative The Second Coming, which is part of a series of works installed in East Lexham Church, Norfolk which took 12 years to complete.
