  • Lovely pencil work and, as usual, an unusual subject drawn in such a way to give it life and interest. Hope you enjoyed your holiday.

  • Avril, these are all fantastic drawings and paintings. I love the locks - you have such talent? Thank you for leaving a comment on my website. Haven't painted since I don't know when. The last time my fingers were playing me up so much it was just too painful. Saying that, I have been away recently to France (August) Argeles we had gorgeous weather. Since dad died we are looking after mum two weeks out of four. We are taking her on holiday soon for a week in this country and then we are off again to Argeles. I just hope the weather holds up for end September/October. I remember you saying you stayed in October and it poured. This is a rather a long note but I didn't have your email address. POL has changed quite a bit since it first started - the friends just seem to be dropping away. That's life I suppose it's always changing. It is always nice to look at your work and others. I do visit from time to time and leave the odd comment. I am sure when winter is upon us I will try and take up the paintbrush again. Hope you are well and having glorious weather in beautiful France. Best wishes Jeannette x

  • I love your choice of subject - such humble things that most people would walk by.
