  • Beautiful painting, can feel the wind in my hair just looking at it.

  • Many thanks, Carole. I got a bit wet that day.... This is the first time I've posted pictures on the painters-online site, and I made a bit of a mess of it, so I'm particularly pleased to have a comment back so quickly (especially a positive one).

  • Smashing work - this definitely works for me I feel the bleakness of the landscape. Love the sky.

  • Thanks all, this encouragement is very helpful to me: it can be a lonely business, painting on your own; and important to know that what I'm trying to say is getting through.

  • Browsing through the portfolios came across this picture. Loved it. The colours are atmospheric and you have captured the feel of the place which I so much admire.

  • Finally managed to log on to comment on your gallery. Having awful trouble. thank you so much for yoru comment on Jumble of Autumn. It was posted before but got pushed off within two minutes as I guess it will be today too. I've only seen one or two of your paintings too, probably the same reason. I love this one; it is so strong and powerful. I can actually feel the wind and the desolation. A very good gallery. You are right; it's a lonely road we artists tread, especially if there are no art groups in reach which is why I love this site.
