  • John, is there no end to your talents? This piece is wonderful. You say 'fired to 1100cc'. Was it one firing? I'm thinking of the splendid colours, I've always assumed you added colour (glazes) AFTER the 1st firing. (But my assumptions are often wrong). Do you have you own kiln?

    Yes Lewis one firing and I did have my own kiln. No glazing involved here. After firing overpainted with white acrylic then painted with acrylics. Quite a lot of over glazing with the paint work though.
