  • It's a scene that I have watched on many occasions in the past, starting from Cowes to the sound of the 21 gun or cannon should I say on the prom outside the RYS, happy memories.

    Anyway, you didn't shy away from that huge block of greens, I would have done. It's well handled and sort of divided up into blocks which breaks it all up nicely, the shadow areas helping this also. It's a well thought out piece, the yacht's and lighthouse not overstated, I may have been tempted to put a glint of highlight on just a couple of the sails as they caught the sun but I never know when to stop...
