  • I like this - the muted flowers and the light emphasising the water area. The plums look fine to me. The background colours and areas of light are good.

  • It's very nice Marjorie. If you feel that the plum shapes are a little strong, you could perhaps pick out some (just a few) of the individual flower shapes which would bring them forward? I must say though that those plums and vase are perfect and the painting looks good. Well worth a little more work on the flowers I think.

  • I agree with Louise, maybe strengthening just a few flowers might be best, but only slightly - I like it as it is.

  • A lovely delicate composition, the plumbs are great, maybe the hydrangeas could do with a bit more detail to make them stand out a little more. The glass vase and its shadow with reflected light is well captured. Nice work.
