  • I do like your oil paintings, Alan, especially the snow scenes, they have a lovely soft quality to them. I particularly like the foreground in this with the detail in the trees and the crisp white snow accentuated by the lemon yellow.

  • Lots of colour here to brighten this this winter scene. As Jenny says those wintry trees are very well done. Hard to appreciate such a large work on my little mini iPad screen!

  • Another classic Bickley with a very loose and I guess quick sky and then more detail as we come forward.

  • Excellent sunlight effect Alan. I covered up half of this and two great scenes worked perfectly too.

  • Magnificent Alan! I love the colours you have used for the snow and the whole scene is an absolut delight.

  • Another lovely scene so well painted in your unique style Alan. I liked the comment stating how loose it is in the background, with the details intensifying to the foreground. I learn something every time I look at your paintings, thanks.

  • Another stunner. I really like the way you have painted the trees ... vaguely eerie!?

  • Gorgeous! Particularly like your depth of focus and the suggestion of detail on the tress in the foreground. I so admire how free and expressive your work is Alan.
