Nancy Farrar Coughlin
Grays Harbor, USA
I have recently escaped to the coast, to Grays Harbor in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. I was born near Boston, MA. and spent summers on the lovely Maine coast. I love nature, being outdoors, the ocean as well as the woods. I am grateful for life, after a ruptured appendix and a year of healing recently; I am treasuring every day! It was time to move away from the hustle and noise of Seattle Urban life. Too many people taking over the land, the air, chopping down trees and stacking homes everywhere. And TOO much traffic!
I started with books, watercolor workshops and demos in 2006. I am hooked on watercolor, and enjoy also playing with acrylics and experimenting with collage and mixed media. Art is a wonderful journey that I am so happy to be on. It fills my soul and brings endless joy. Even though other challenges present themselves, and have for a few years now, somehow I find my way back to the journey. Setting up a studio in our home now, and plan on getting back to the joy of creating. Cheers!
