this WIP is from a photo given to me for a commission a bunch of flowers which she would like to give as a Christmas gift (HELP). from the photo I cannot see what or if there is a container to hold the flowers. so my question is what do I put the flowers into?, there are no visible stems because the photo has been taken from above. so do I leave it it without and just do a shadow or as if they were placed on a table of put into a vase of some kind?? I am doing this in coloured pencil and I know there is still a lot to do
Tao this is a photograph I took on a work surface earlier this year. The flowers were in a vase but you cannot see it. So maybe you could do something along these lines where your flowers smother the vase, but do a contrasting background. A thought.
