Preview Exhibition of "The Sea, The Sea" was exhausting but went well -- a few sales, too!! It runs until May 29th at Gallery Forty-Nine in Old Town, Bridlington -- a great wee gallery. Feeling inspired and still painting assiduously . . .

Exhibition Stress takes its hold - whiting out the sides of box canvases - cording up - using my wee drill and being a joiner now! All sore on the old back.

Your comments are greatly supportive and much appreciated. Do we always need to seek approval for our art? I wish not, but at the end of the day, positive comments are always welcome. Gives a boost pre-exhibition. That's why we blog, I guess . . .

Another few hours listening this time to Easter Service from Yorkminster on Radio 3 --- resolved a few, I think. Builder comes tomorrow to sort the wiring and plumbing on the house and now I have nowhere to work. Will have to move all me stuff.... Will spend tomorrow whiting up the edges of the box canvases.

Why can't I plan my work schedule more efficiently?

Resolve . . . please!!

Oh, these two paintings will just not resolve. This is because I am under pressure. A week and no resolution. Keep whiting them out, keep scraping back as I listen to choir music on Radio 3 -- all very eerie at times, especially Shostakovitch .... painting in an empty house ....
