I'm a Leicestershire based artist, having taken up painting as a full time career in 2000.
Prior to this, I painted for many years as a hobby whilst holding down a full time job in research and development for a US company. I felt that art was a great help to me when working in this highly creative environment.
Since 2000, things have gone from strength to strength. I was a finalist in the first Daily Mail NOT the Turner Prize competition and exhibited in the Mall galleries, and have recently held a one man exhibition at The Barbican Centre, London.
I get asked to write articles for The Leisure Painter magazine from time to time, something that I greatly enjoy.
One of my other pleasures is visiting art societies around the UK giving demonstrations and workshops as well as taking groups abroad on painting holidays.
