Biography

Our art group the "Afan Nedd Art Group" was established in 2005, we all met at different, local run, art classes and suggested we all stayed in touch by starting an art group in our local community centre every week. The group grew rapidly and became well known in our community. some members went on to University to accomplish Art Degrees as mature students, others went on to teach, due to their love of art. At present we are few in numbers but are all enjoying the friendly banter and the company. Our group consist of school teachers, a former Oxford graduate, pensioners, disabled, working people and a school governor. We exhibit our work every year at our local shopping centre in Port Talbot, which is always a success, creating more awareness for our group.
