Paula Oakley

Biography

I am a contemporary realist painter working with acrylics on canvas. My main area of study is to take traditional subjects and depict them in a modern style, a wonderful mix of nostalgia and modern day culture. Based in East Sussex my constant inspiration comes from the scenery and textures of my environment resulting in the creation of a diverse variety of subjects including still life and landscapes .
