In the art world, color is one of the most helpful thing to properly illustrate an image. And it is necessary to know about the behaviour of colour theory which will help us recognise and understand the color. Sunlight is process by which our eyes and our brain recognise them as seven different colours, which we know as VIBGYOR. These seven colors merge together to become white. It is science of light. But we do not have the same anecdotes when we work in the coloring world of drawing/painting. The main ingredient of our color use is basically some pigment kind of thing, which is a combination of numerous things. Some time it is mixed with gum [water color tube], sometimes it is made by mixing chemical liquids [oil color tubes] and sometimes we need to make it harder [colored pencil, oil pastel etc.]. If we mix the seven colors of our pallet then it becomes almost black. Because they are nothing but chemical matter. So when they combine with one another, they lose their own quality. There is no seven major colors in pigment-colored world like science of light. There are only three primary colors. Red, yellow and blue. Note that seven colors of light can be made in combination with these three colors. Just as like as we do in our palate. The initial three colors of the pigment world can not be created by the ordinary people like us. It is manufactured in the factory through chemical reactions. We can create three secondary colors and numerous tertiary colors. Apart from this, one more color is made only in the factory that is white. Black we can create with two or three tertiary color mix. But it is also I have to say that the real black color can not be made in this way. It also need factory work. In our future classes we will discuss more about colors.
