In April 2016 Marion travelled to the USA to paint with Jerry Yarnell & Robert Warren. Robert was tracked down in the indian territories of Cherokee, near to the famous Smokey Mountains as part of the Art Quest week, followed by another flight south to hook up with Jerry Y at his art school in Oklahoma. It was inspiring being able to paint with an American audience & to also realise that although traveling quite a way south by air, Marion was still in the old Cherokee territory. Showing how mobile the indigenous red indians were.
