The variety of techniques, styles an subjects on display at the exhibition was truly impressive and as far as the event was concerned the attendees were enthusiastic. From a personal perspective I found the experience dreadfull. Despite a note from Fiona earlier today offering encouragement, thanks Fiona, I couldn't help being paranoid about my works and how they compared. To me exhibiting is like baring my sole and I'm asking questions of myself all the time I'm there. Why aren't people looking at my stuff, have I used the right choice of colors in the mounts, what do people think and how do they see my stuff compared to the others? My heart is in my mouth all the time I'm there! I've agreed to do a couple of hours demonstration on the 26th of November at the exhibition and I'm already regretting my decision. Ah well it will soon be Christmas!
