There is a brand new art group in Keswick

The group is called the Keswick Pencil Art Group and they meet every 3rd Saturday at the Quaker House in Keswick from 10 - 2pm.

The aim of the group is to have fun whilst learning and produce artworks in coloured pencil to exhibition standard. The group is looking to produce work that can be entered for UK Colour Pencil Society (UKCPS) exhibitions and to organise their own regional/local exhibitions.

The group is hoping to have demonstrations, along with workshops, and to venture out for plein air painting sessions in the summer months.

There are currently a dozen members and would like other like minded people, whether beginners or experienced artists, to join them.

Keswick Pencil Art Group can be found on facebook (keswick pencil art group)
