Mooring chains, Loing canal. - Watercolour

Started in february and finished yesterday ! Seen whilst wandering along the Loing canal at St. Mames. 35 x 25 cms on Bockinford.

Well worth the wait, Avril! It's lovely - such a simple subject, but requiring, and rendered with, great skill. You've really elevated rust and old wood into the highest art form!
