An intriguing and very colourful bric-a-brac shop in Buis-les-Baronnies, Drome. The green box on the left is a shelter for "homeless" cats. In French a homeless person is an "SDF". Not sure about the red door..... but that's how it is.
Thought I'd take a quick look before going out. glad I did. This struck me immediately Avril. A gorgeous typically French scene. Excellent watercolour. Love it.

This is so beautifully and cleverly painted Avril. Love the idea of the shelter - no - I mustn't go there! Really well done.

Love the way you have portrayed the rough stone and the colours are great. I also like the red door, a lovely focal point.

You weren't sure about the red door, but I think it warms the painting - and it's a lovely tone of red, well painted. Love the battered old bicycle in front, and the wit.
