Winter Sun on the Canal
I painted this just before Christmas when the ground was frozen hard but the sunlight was crystal clear. It was very chilly but I was so absorbed that I didn't notice until I packed my kit away that my feet had gone numb! Well worth it though, I left with a head full of ideas and promising myself I would do this again. I've definitely caught the winter plein-air bug if not pneumonia!
